Discuss

The discussion area is an open forum for members and also non-members to talk about LETS, trading and anything else they feel relevant. It is a seperately managed area of the web-site, which anyone can register with and use even if they have not registered with the main web site. Because it is an open discussion, please remember to keep your own and other members' personal details confidential.

My Listings

You must be logged on to view this screen.

A summary of the goods or services you wish to receive or provide is given here. To make changes to one of the listings, click on it.

You can only change or delete listings that you have added online using this system. Other listings will appear 'read-only'. To change or delete these, you must contact the LETS administrators in the normal way, and the change will take effect next time the directory is updated. Please note that this computer system is separate from the main Sutton LETS admin system. You must ALWAYS notify the LETS system administrator separately of any changes to your personal or Directory entries, or they will not appear in future Directories.

Once you have clicked on a listing it will be displayed.

You can choose whether it is an offer or a request, what category it should be listed under, and its description.

Once you have made the changes you want to click on 'Save Changes'

If you wish to delete a listing, click on it, then choose 'Delete Listing'.

If you want to add a new listng, click on 'Add New Listing' and then enter the type, category and description and click on 'Add Listing' to confirm. If you add a listing you must still inform the LETS administrators in the normal way, otherwise it will not appear in the printed directory.

My Details

Here you can update your name, telephone number and email address, or the password you use to log onto the website.

Logout

Click on logout when you have finished using the website to ensure that other users of the computer cannot make changes to your account, or view confidential information.

RSS Feed (icon/link)

This is an easy way to stay up to date with all the latest adverts without having to visit the site regularly to check. You'll need either to download and install an RSS reader program or use a website that reads RSS feeds.

We recommend SharpReader for installation on Windows and Bloglines for a web-based service that doesn't require you to download or install anything. There are numerous others you can find by searching Google for "RSS readers".

Just copy the Sutton LETS RSS feed address into your RSS reader program and you will automatically receive new adverts as they appear: http://www.suttonlets.org.uk/news/feed.xml

If you don't want to receive the Sutton LETS feed any more, just delete it from your RSS reader.
